I was looking for something to do with grapefruit – baked grapefruit. It's a simple method: cut the grapefruit in half, a sprinkle of brown sugar, cinnamon or maple syrup, then bake until the sugar caramelizes. The simplicity astounded me and the taste was incredible. Baking the grapefruit helps minimize the bitterness and bringing up the sweet and fruity fragrance. I can’t see a reason to eat a raw grapefruit anymore.

Absolutely a good recipe for cheese cake. I love it and the best thing is make with fresh lychee and no artificial flavor or essence at all. The fresh sweetness of the lychee melted in my mouth:) It's my favorite!

This is a healthy version of Baked Tapioca Cake or Kuih Bingka Ubi. I choose fresh ingredients, less sugar and coconut milk. Idea to go with maple syrup when serving hot. This is one of the traditional Nonya Kuih so easy to make yet so good to taste.
